    The Crossroads series pays homage to the style and sound of classic instruments from 1930’s America. Michael Sanden selected the timbers, making the tops a precise measurement so they flex and respond to the players attack. He then braced the instrument with his own patterns to give each guitar its own personality. He wanted to make a guitar that would have the sound that any musician, professional or amateur could appreciate. To make the guitar look authentic to the 1930’s era, Michael added a dark stain to the timbers that we call Whiskey Barrel to make the Crossroads look historic and simply elegant.

    The Presys Onboard Preamp Systems are designed and built to offer maximum control, performance and quality in a small, unobtrusive format. The compact sophisticated Presys system features Volume, Bass, Mid and Treble controls, a Phase switch, and a built-in tuner with LED display. Presys preamps also include a Fishman Sonicore pickup, a low battery indicator, low profile control knobs and a unique pivot design for easy access to the battery compartment.

    The Alpha bass series from Tanglewood aims to deliver smooth playability and a broad selection of tones to suit any bass playing application. A solid maple neck and techwood fretboard lead to a sleek contoured basswood body with high quality, die-cast black hardware. The two passive humbucking pickups share a common volume and tone control but can be easily combined or separated using the blend knob, allowing for limitless tonal capabilities.
